Volunteer Opportunity: Solutions-focused news curation & editing

Hi there!

You probably know Squirrel News from our mobile app or our newsletter.

So far, our team consists mainly of volunteers. At the moment, we’re looking for another volunteer editor on our English edition.

You would be responsible for one issue per week (about 5 hours) and

• browse the media landscape and identify relevant stories
• participate in our editorial calls
• rewrite headlines and teasers
• upload the editions.

If you’re interested, you could also help with social media and PR.

We are looking for a native English speaker with professional experience in journalism / news editing and a broad general education.

Squirrel News is based in Berlin, Germany, but we work remotely.
