Dear readers, friends and Squirrel Community,
We’re delighted to have been able to provide you with another year of constructive news and that this year has once again seen many new ideas, working solutions and important advances.
In fact, there are so many that it’s not easy to keep track of them all. That’s why, at the beginning of the year, we started to summarise the most important articles from each month. To be honest, these monthly reviews always surprise us. It’s so easy to lose sight of the great solutions and positives things that have happened in the previous month!
279 constructive news items from 2023
As the year draws to a close, there are now plenty of media outlets stringing together bad news in their annual reviews. Here and there, there are also reviews with 10 or 15 positive events and developments – but that’s not enough for us. That’s why we’ve squirrelled together all the monthly reviews here, resulting in a year in review with no fewer than 279 stories about solutions and progress in 2023.
Of course this is just a selection of the most important and exciting contributions (and December is still missing). Whether anyone will manage to read and look at it all is another question. We’ve also refrained from listing all 279 articles one after the other as an issue in our app – but there should be enough material to tide you over until the beginning of January, right?
Quiz, tablet layout, search function
To train our memory even further and spread knowledge about solutions, we also recently created our first quiz. We want to do this more regularly in the coming year, so keep your eyes peeled!
We’re also currently working hard on a tablet layout for our app. We now know that some of you have already been using the app on a tablet, even though it wasn’t actually designed for this. This hasn’t necessarily improved since our last update, but the next version will soon be ready with suitable layouts for all common screen sizes – and next up will (finally) be a search function in the app!
Our team is now taking a short break over the holidays. The next regular issue will be published at the beginning of January. To bridge the gap, please refer to the 283 news items from last year. If that’s not enough, please let us know!
